Simulator
The Simulator was a project taken on by Flt Lt G McKay when he was appointed Sqn OC. A Lottery Grant was awarded for the construction of the simulator and ancillaries.
The flight simulator is located in our Flight Operations room and is ably supported by a team of dedicated simulator instructors.

The simulator is used every week and cadets have the opportunity to work their way through a syllabus that draws from the Private Pilots License (PPL) Manual. Cadets work through a series of lessons and flights culminating in solo circuits and navigations exercises.
